COPINH: Convocatoria a la Jornada “Justicia para Berta YA!” #6mesessinjusticia/Call to Action “Justice for Berta NOW” (transmitiremos en vivo)

(abajo en ingles) Por medio de la presente el Consejo Cívico de Organizaciones Populares e Indígenas de Honduras (COPINH) convoca a sus comunidades, a las organizaciones, movimientos sociales y sociedad civil a sumarse a la Jornada de Movilización Artístico, Cultural y Espiritual  “Justicia Para Berta YA” que se desarrollara los días 1, 2 y 3 de septiembre en la ciudad de La Esperanza, Intibucá.

El objetivo de la jornada es compartir desde la movilización, el arte y la espiritualidad el clamor de Justicia por el asesinato de nuestra compañera y hermana Berta Cáceres Flores y seguir convocándonos a las acciones que denuncien la participación de la institucionalidad hondureña, la empresa privada y la banca internacional en este crimen.

En esta jornada seguimos demandando la aceptación del estado de una comisión Independiente de Investigación y la cancelación inmediata y definitiva del proyecto de muerte DESA-Agua Zarca.

También convocamos a la comunidad internacional a sumarse a esta jornada con acciones públicas que muestren su respaldo a estas demandas.

¡Con la fuerza ancestral de Berta, Lempira, Mota, Iselaca y Ettempica se levantan nuestras voces

llenas de vida, justicia, libertad, dignidad y paz!

¡Son 6 meses del crimen, 6 meses de impunidad!

7:30am- Marcha “Justicia para Berta YA”   Partimos desde “La Gruta”

3:30pm- Concierto y teatro exigiendo Justicia. Centro de Encuentros y Amistad “Utopía”

Call to Action

The Civil Council of Popular and Indigenous Organizations of Honduras (COPINH) calls on its communities and social movements, organizations and civil society to join us in the “Justice for Berta NOW” Days of Artistic, Cultural and Spiritual Mobilization that will take place September 1st-3rd in

La Esperanza, Intibucá, Honduras.

The objective of this action is to share through mobilization, art and spirituality our cry for justice for the assassination of our compañera and sister Berta Cáceres Flores and to continue camping together in actions to denounce the participation of Honduran institutions, private enterprise and international banks in this crime.

During this action we will continue to demand that the state accept an Independent Investigatory Commission and the immediate and definitive cancellation of the deadly DESA-Agua Zarca project.

We also call on the international community to join in this action with public actions that show support for these demands.
